SOCIAL MEDIA

From the very start of my career, social media has been a core focus of my work, shaping my expertise in strategy, content planning, and community management across diverse industries. On the agency side, I developed social media strategies, content plans, and calendars for a wide range of clients, tailoring each approach to meet unique brand needs and audience preferences. I managed and reported on accounts for major brands like Hungarian Telekom, Westend shopping center in Budapest, Penny Market, AAA Auto, and Sanicat, gaining hands-on experience in building engagement and driving measurable results.

Currently at Canon, I’m part of a small team of four, responsible for the overarching social media strategy for 32 markets across EMEA, coordinating campaigns, guiding regional teams, and ensuring that Canon’s brand presence is cohesive and impactful.

As a freelancer, I continued honing my skills, planning and executing social media strategies for NXT PHASE, a small boutique gym in London, where I contributed to a strong digital presence in the competitive fitness industry.

 

This experience across agency, freelance, and in-house roles has given me a comprehensive perspective on social media’s role in building brand visibility and community connection.

SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGEMENT

In my role as a traditional social media manager, I have been responsible for drafting detailed content calendars that align closely with business objectives, ensuring a strategic flow of posts that engage audiences and meet brand goals. I regularly briefed content production teams on visual and thematic elements, maintaining consistency in messaging and style across all platforms.

 

As a freelancer, I have taken a hands-on approach by creating and editing content myself, bringing creative ideas to life and adapting visuals to match brand standards. Additionally, I handle copywriting, crafting compelling and targeted messaging that resonates with the audience and drives engagement, effectively balancing creativity with strategic focus.

SOCIAL MEDIA GOVERNANCE

In my role within the social media team of Canon's HQ, we're responsible for social media governance for 32 markets across EMEA. I ensure that Canon’s brand presence remains cohesive, compliant, and impactful on social media platforms by establishing guidelines and best practices to maintain consistency in tone, messaging, and visual identity, enabling local teams to engage effectively while aligning with Canon’s overarching brand strategy.

 

I provide comprehensive toolkits, content frameworks, and regular training to support local teams in executing campaigns that resonate within their specific markets. Through close monitoring and guidance, I help each region navigate platform-specific requirements, audience expectations, and cultural nuances, creating a unified yet adaptable social media presence across Canon’s EMEA footprint.

SOCIAL MEDIA PRODUCTION

In social media production, my role spans through the entire creative process—from ideation to execution. I've been responsible for creative ideation that aligns with brand objectives and resonates with target audiences, crafting ideas that are both engaging and strategically sound. I've also briefed and worked closely with production teams, outlining key messages, visuals, and formats to ensure every detail reflects brand identity and goals.

 

In a hands-on capacity as a freelancer, I’ve often executed this process independently, handling everything from shooting and editing content to refining final assets for publishing. By overseeing each stage, I ensure that content is not only on-brand and visually compelling but also optimised for maximum engagement across platforms.

SOCIAL MEDIA REPORTING

When creating social media reporting and leveraging social listening, I focus on gathering actionable insights to shape future strategies. By analysing metrics and engagement patterns, I track the effectiveness of campaigns, identify trends, and understand audience behavior.

 

 I have developed tailored reporting frameworks for clients, capturing key performance indicators that align with each brand’s unique goals. Social listening further enhances this process by allowing me to tap into real-time conversations and sentiment, enabling me to adapt content and messaging to address audience needs proactively. I use these insights to form the foundation for data-driven, adaptable strategies that enhance engagement and optimise brand presence across platforms.
